There has continued to be good progress with the roof in the last month. Tiling is largely complete on the main roof covering the nave, with felt and battening to the side aisles under way. Two of the three roof crosses have been reinstated following refurbishment, and the bells have also been reintroduced. Preparatory work on the chancel dome is mostly complete so that felt and battening there can start within the next month.

Internally, both soffit boarding and brick remedial work are advancing well so that a start can be made on the high level decorations in the next month.

The external groundworks in front of the FPCC are largely complete, with reinstatement works now in progress so that the space can be reopened imminently.
