Job Vacancy – Children and Families Worker
PARISH OF FLEET, HAMPSHIRE (Church of England)
Part time – 15 Hours per week
Salary £14 per hour – c£11,000 p.a.
Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday)
The Parish of Fleet would like to appoint a Children and Families worker to oversee and support existing activities and lead new initiatives in accordance with the Parish Development Plan. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a lively and friendly ministry team in a time of significant church growth.
Working hours will be flexible but the applicant will need to be able to attend existing weekday family activities. This post would suit someone already involved with Sunday activities at their own church. Some after school and occasional weekend working will be required.
There will be opportunity for further training in children’s and Families work through the Diocese of Guildford.
Given the nature and context of the work it is an occupational requirement that the post holder should be a communicant member of the Church of England or a full member of a church within Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.
Contract: 3 years contract with possibility of extension.
