Stories that spark wonder and imagination

Step into a world of playful, heartfelt stories where children can explore life’s little adventures through fun and interactive storytelling. Drawing inspiration from the themes and messages of the Bible.  These stories encourage children to explore belonging, friendship, kindness, nature, joy and faith — opening up new ways to imagine, connect and discover Bible stories and the world around them in a simple and fun way.

Imaginative play

Lots of opportunities to imagine and play, whether it’s a teddy bears picnic, or creating a dinosaur park on the mats.

Creative play

There’s always a craft table for drawing, making or modelling with playdough.

Active play

Space to move, dance around , play mini-basketball to name a few.

Come along with friends, make new friends and enjoy the space where children can explore a range of activities.

This is our smaller, relaxed play environment, is free to attend with no need to book.  Just come along.  Refreshments, fruit and cake is always available.

Sunday Wonder

Stories that spark wonder and imagination and creative play

Sunday Wonder meets as part of the 10am service at All Saints Church on the 1st Sunday of the month and at Ss Philip & James Church on the 4th Sunday.  Children (aged approximately 3 to 11 years old) gather at the start of the service in the Church and are then led through to the church hall for our Sunday Wonder session.

Godly Play is a very special way of sharing the Bible stories and teachings of the church. We use these beautiful resources to help tell the story of the day in a visual and tactile way, encouraging children to step into the Bible and the story for themselves. Story time is held in the church hall, with 2 of our registered Children’s Team.  After the story, the children also enjoy colouring, making a craft, or reading more relating to the story that they’ve heard.

Informal Worship

Informal Worship is at 10.00 at Ss Philip & James Church on the 3rd Sunday of the month and is particularly good for children and families, or those exploring Church for the first time and those wanting a more casual approach to worship. We find creative ways to engage with Bible stories.  There’s always a craft, some interactive prayer and singing – fun for all. Café Church

Café Church

We would love to welcome you to Café Church. Connect with others over tea, coffee and pastries.  Encounter faith in the warmth of everyday life, in a relaxed and immersive setting, with worship and an interactive exploration of a bible passage. This is an accessible space for everyone to enjoy.
