Volunteering

The Parish of Fleet has a few paid posts but otherwise relies completely on over 50 volunteers who offer their time and skills to help to do everything from visiting people in the community through baptism, confirmation and marriage preparation, to caring for our churches and halls and preparing them for services; not to mention over 40 people regularly involved in the music of the parish.

Whilst we are richly blessed in this way, the amount that we can do towards our mission and ministry in Fleet is still limited by our voluntary resources – many of us have reached the limit of what we can offer and the only way to fulfil all that we feel God is calling us to do, is to ask for more people to volunteer to help. Several specific vacancies exist and are listed on the Volunteer Vacancies page, but there are many other things that you could help with.

Financial Assistance

Much of the church’s income comes from the use of our buildings – which stopped during the Coronavirus epidemic.
