After 7 years of waiting, the iconic wheel window (also known as the Rose Window) returns to All Saints Church.
The brand new window commissioned by the PCC and designed by Amanda Winfield has been installed. The window depicts the Holy Spirit of Pentecost, but also images familiar to Fleet – the water of pond and canal and the greenery of our open spaces. A central image of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove was still to be installed when these striking pictures were taken.
The window features over 100 ‘leaves’ engraved with the names of church members, local residents and departed loved ones.
We hope to open the church again around the end of the year with a series of thanksgiving services planned for early next year.
