The Fleet Parish Youth Pantomime this year will be ‘Cinderella’, the familiar story loved by audiences, involving lots of fun and laughs, traditional pantomime characters and a bit of romance for good measure.

If you are in Year 6 upwards and wish to try for a part this year, do come along to the casting session in Ss Philip & James Hall at 2.00 pm on Sunday 8 September. It’s a great experience and can also help towards achieving a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, if you’re doing that. Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons throughout the autumn, with possible extra dates in the Christmas holidays. Performances take place on Thursday through Sunday, 2-5 January 2014. In order to take part, you must be available for the whole week 29 December 2013 to Sunday 5 January 2014 inclusive.

As well as actors, the show couldn’t take place without the help of those ‘behind the scenes’. If you’d like to get involved this year (with set design and construction, painting, props, costumes, make up, front of house, etc), please contact Carolyn on 684601 (or mobile 07805 288175). This year we especially need people to help with props. The more helpers we have, the quicker everything gets done and the more enjoyable everyone finds the experience. I look forward to hearing from you.
