Churches Together in Fleet & Crookham

Churches Together in Fleet & Crookham is a group of eleven different Christian churches and denominations, but all have the same basic calling:

to worship God, to share the good news about Jesus Christ and to work for the good of all people.

We often need to work together – and to co-ordinate the work we each do separately. When we do, we are acting as Churches Together. But being Churches Together means more than that. It means commitment by each church and denomination to deepen its fellowship with the others, and – without losing what makes each interestingly different – to work together towards a greater visible unity.

Our work together includes:

  • Livingstones Bookshop – a Christian bookshop  with the vision of being a “Light on the High Street”.
  • Fleet Town Centre Project – The “Fleet Angels” offering coffee, care and reassurance to everyone who relaxes and works in the town at night.
  • Christians Against Poverty and the Hart Foodbank, led by the Methodist Church
  • FACCTS – Fleet and Crookham Churches Together in Schools
  • Church on the Heath, the Local Ecumenical Partnership on the new and growing Elvetham Heath estate.
