I’m running in the Fleet Half Marathon to raise money to help rebuild All Saints’ Church and create a building fit for everyone in our community.
When All Saints was ravaged by fire in 2015, there was a huge outpouring of public grief. The tragedy went beyond religion; this building had been at the heart of the town since its early beginnings. As well as being the spiritual home to many and the centre of important life events, it was also part of this town’s identity and housed many civic and community events.
We will use the funds raised to upgrade and enhance All Saints, by improving the sightlines which are obstructed by the brick pillars, reducing our carbon footprint and providing disabled access. These improvements are not covered by the insurance.
Click here to donate – your donation will help us to restore this much loved building and enhance our community.
