Operation Love In A Box – Collection 27 October

You very generously took part in ‘Operation Love in a Box’ last year, and we as a Church were able to send around eighty boxes. Wliabe would like to do the same again this year. The Mustard Seed Relief Missions Charity operates the ‘Love in a box’ scheme. This sends gift wrapped shoe boxes with various gift items in them to children in Romania, Moldovia and The Ukraine. You can take a look at their website at www.msrm.org.uk . I would like to encourage you all to take a leaflet, they are in both churches and can also be downloaded from the website www.msrm.org.uk/liab.pdf, and consider making up a box. If you feel unable to make one up on your own, maybe you could partner up with someone. Or if you belong to one of the many groups or teams within the parish, perhaps your group could consider making up a box or two between them. The charity is quite specific about the contents of the box and how it should be presented. The leaflet does explain everything very clearly. Sunday 27th October will be the ‘Love in a box’ collection day in both churches and we will also collect boxes at All Saints on 3rd November. Contact
