Following the success of our previous Christmas Tree Festivals, we are holding another one on 8th-10th December this year. In addition to seasonal refreshments and a musical background, there will be stalls and children’s attractions in the hall. If you have entered a tree before, we look forward to your support once again; if you did not, please read on or download the Christmas Tree Festival flyer 2017 to find how to join in this year!
You are invited to enter a Christmas tree for your school, community group, business, family, or just as an individual. Details to help you plan for your tree are given below. There will be a small prize for the best tree in each class and the best overall.
Visitors to the Festival will be charged a modest entrance fee and the proceeds will be split between local charities.
If you would like to enter a tree, please enter using the form below or you can ask for a paper application form from the Parish Office.
If you have any queries please e-mail email@example.com or call Brian Biffin on 01252 616692.
Your tree should be:
- A maximum of 5 feet high
- Decorated to a theme of your choice
- Your tree can be fresh or artificial
- It is strongly recommended that you include lights in the decoration so that the tree can be seen to best effect.
- Please put up your tree during one of the times:
- Wednesday 6th December 6 p.m.- 9 p.m.
- Thursday 7th December 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Friday 8th December 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
All applications must be received by Sunday 3rd December 2017 and spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We will do our best to accommodate late entries but cannot guarantee acceptance. We look forward to your participation in what promises to be another dazzling display. If purchasing a tree is likely to present a problem, please get in touch, as we are actively seeking tree sponsors!
If you are unable to take part, but would like to contribute in some other way, the donation of a prize would be much appreciated. Many thanks!
