In March Professor Graham Smith, Consultant Haematologist at Frimley Park Hospital came to All Saints Church and gave a piano recital in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care (specifically to be used for the Macmillan Nurses in Frimley Park Hospital) and All Saints School ‘Shine and Share’ project, which is part of their 150 Anniversary celebrations. 150 people attended and £2,000 was raised which was shared equally between the two charities. We are very grateful to Professor Smith for giving his time to perform for us. In April two pupils from All Saints Junior School, Markus and Stefanie presented cards of thanks to Professor Smith and he in turn presented cheques to and Alison Wyld Headteacher of All Saints School and Irene Bothomley, chair of Camberley Macmillan Cancer Care Fundraising Committee.
