Car & Curry Night – Saturday 22 March

P&J Hall, Kings Road.

Engines will ‘rev’ up at 6.30 for racing from 7. Pit stop around 8pm for curry.
Tickets £7.00 per person.

We are now revving up for a new event that will particularly appeal to “boy-racers” of all ages and will surely add P&J Hall into the list of the great motor racing circuits alongside Brands Hatch, Monaco and the Nürburgring.
Now it’s time to dig out all those Scalextric cars and track that have been languishing in your lofts. It doesn’t matter if they have gone to the charity shop, tracks are available for those who do not have them, but please bring your own cars if possible.
Building the track will start at 4pm and doors will open from 6:30pm for last minute tuning of the cars.
After a few practice laps the racing should start in earnest at about 7pm. There will be a pit stop at 8pm for a chicken tikka masala or a vegetable curry.
Lady drivers and non-racing curry lovers are welcome. Children are welcome too but we ask that they be supervised as these are not toys!

Bring your own drink and cars if you have them.
Contact Sue Benham 622538, Karen Kite 613251 or the Parish Office 812114 for a place on the grid – spaces still available!
